admin comes with a new idea:
Adam Lambert The Father Of My Virtual Child! LOL ideagirlconsulting.wordpress.com 07/28/2009 adam lambert the father of my virtual child I was posting blogs this morning on Idea Girl Consulting Word Press when I came across a funny interview with Adam Lambert from American Idol. In this interview he mentions the fact that he wants to have children some day, if he finds the right person. Shocking he’s not just GAY he is Bi â€" Curious! So I decided to have some fun with the “I want children someday” statement. I’ve created what is called a KIDDIE RESUME.

ShepRamsey notices:
Welcome Back Kotter-esque show called Yo, Teach (which never would stay on the air for as long as it does in this movie).  Jonah Hill is Leo, the “3XL version of Ira”, who is seeing a lot of success working at the Improv.  Also, there’s Daisy (Aubrey Plaza), the girl that Ira has his eyes on.  A very interesting character, she’s not played out in the way you might expect.

hira considers that:

Bob Sassone comes with the facts:
What's On Tonight: Wizards of Waverly Place, Lock 'N Load, Eureka Posted Jul 31st 2009 4:05PM by Bob Sassone Filed under: Late Night , Programming , Celebrities , Talk Show , What To Watch Tonight , Reality-Free

Having that in mind, Doctor wonders:

ShepRamsey sees it this way:
After the straight-up comedy that was The 40-Year-Old Virgin and the comedy-that-was-kinda-veering-towards-drama that was Knocked Up , Apatow (as a writer/director) has embraced the dramatic elements of his films full-on with a film about grown adults who let their emotions turn them all into great big children.  The film stars an Adam Sandler that is entirely unlike every version of him that’s come before, and while he’s a completely dislikable character, Sandler really turns in a tremendous performance.

Still not being convinced, ShepRamsey replies:
Paul Giamatti as Larry in Three Stooges ? Sold! (500) Days of Summer introduces the new genre of hipster rom-coms; still predictable

admin is rather skeptical:
Chinese foodTwo and a half men season 1 episode 12 part 1Comedy showdown of owel 2008

For this reason, Kurt says:
Funny People was about 35 minutes longer than it needed to be and maybe Judd Apatow is getting a little indulgent because I really don t need multiple 5 minute long scenes of people watching TV. I BELIEVE they watch TV...I don t need the reinforcement. You could even have a character be all "I m going in the other room to watch some TV" and I ll pretty much still buy into your fiction .

Matt Robinson might have an idea about it:

kt admin tells the real story:
Funny People moves in fits and starts, sometimes sidetracking with stories about Ira s roommates, another aspiring comic ( Jonah Hill ) and a sitcom star ( Jason Schwartzman ). Schwartzman s Mark Taylor Jackson is supposed to be a super-successful seducer of women, a trait that sets up tension about who ll be first to sleep with a deadpan female comic ( Aubrey Plaza ). Eric Bana shows up as the over-amped husband of Mann s character.
